Paul Rich started working as a photographer’s assistant at a very young age and has been shooting ever since. He has a great eye for capturing those tender moments during a wedding and possesses a great technical sense of light. Paul has a documentary, photojournalist style and is an award-winning member of the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. Plus, he’s one of the nicest guys around.

Take a look at some amazing shots from Paul:

This couple looks supremely comfortable posing, which says a lot for how Paul works. He gets some amazing expressions and moments, and this photo is a perfect example of that. And, how the color pops in this image is amazing.

The late afternoon light in this image gives it a warm, romantic feeling and you can almost feel the summer air. I love the moment he captured, like he just stumbled across this random couple kissing on the dock.

This is just a fun, memorable shot–the dressing of the bride. The daylight illuminating the women in this photo makes it seem like a spotlight is on them during the big day. It also adds a happy, shining effect and is a nice contrast with the black dresses. I like how we don’t really see a background but rather the focus is on the subjects.

The smoke and sparklers in this image embody the moment and truly what a celebration the wedding day is. The couple looks surprised and I like detail of them holding hands as they probably enter the reception for the first time as husband and wife.

What beautiful shots with the silhouetted couple and the tender touch on the left and the light-hearted laughter on the right side. The light reflecting off the water really pops the couple’s shadow. What a great series for an engagement album.
