I’m really excited to be teaching a very special CreativeLive class titled, “Shoot & Sell Compelling Wedding Albums” this Friday, June 10th at 9 a.m. PST. For more than 15 years I’ve been working with many of the best photographers and labs in the world. And through these relationships I’ve been able to distill the disparate information that goes into creating and selling bigger and better albums.
This CreativeLive course is built on three pillars: the power of print, the love of telling our clients’ stories and creating an experience in the design consultation. Many photographers find it difficult to sell bigger and better albums, but what creates larger sales is not being a better sales person, but doing what we love.
We all know the old adage about the iceberg, where 90% of its mass is under the water. This proves true with bigger album sales. If we build our base around the love of print and the love of our clients and telling the best version of there story that we can, we don’t need to be a sales person. We can simply share the story we created in an environment that allows them to spend more on the most important thing in their life – themselves and their loved ones.
